Each month, Wolfies chooses and organization or cause to raise funds for and bring awareness to by holding drives or fundraisers. We feel that it is important to give back to the community that has given so much to us.
December 2016: ‘Tis the season
This December we are getting into the spirit! For our #WolfiesGiveback this month, we are adopting the Anifowoshe Family! Please help us make this an amazing Christmas for this amazing family of six!
November 2016: Don’t forget to remember for those who cannot
Don’t forget to remember for those who cannot! This month we are partnering with Seven Acres and the Alzheimer’s Association. We will be joining Seven Acres on the Walk, and hosting a bake sale for 2 weeks! All proceeds will go to help fund Alzheimer’s research!
October 2016: Support Our Troops
This month Wolfies is honoring all of our unsung heroes - our Military troops! We will be partnering with Operation Shoebox, a non profit based out of Florida. We will be collecting candy to send to them for their care packages. Help us make this give back the sweetest one yet!
September 2016: The House of Hope for Children
We will be teaming up with Casa De Esperanza. An amazing organization dedicated to nurturing and helping Houston’s children and their futures. We will be collecting diapers, wipes, clothes, toys, etc all month long and hosting a Splash Day for the kids at the end of the month.
August 2016: Kids’ Meals Houston
For the month of August, we are partnering with Kid’s Meals Houston. A non profit that is dedicated in nourishing Houston’s preschool aged children who are not fortunate enough to have nutritious lunches every day. We will be volunteering in their kitchen helping making sack lunches, in addition to having a non perishable food drive with our Wolfies families.
July 2016: It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas in July! Join us this month with our toy drive for Texas Children’s Hospital. All toys will be given to TCH patients in hopes of putting a smile on their sweet faces.
June 2016: Loaves & Fishes
This month we are doing a toiletries drive and making care packages for Houston’s Homeless. We will be volunteering at Loaves & Fishes and distributing all goodie bags, in hopes of making someone’s day a little brighter.
May 2016: You’re somebody’s type!
You’re somebody’s type! This month we are doing our 3rd blood drive and partnering with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. Did you know that every 2 seconds someone needs a blood transfusion! That’s huge! Come out and help us save some lives this month.
April 2016: Be the change you wish to see in the world
For April’s Give Back we are being the change we wish to see in the world, literally! Join us and Trees for Houston in making a difference with Mother Earth!
March 2016: In honor of the Hurtado Family. We are giving back!
We are partnering with Ronald McDonald House again, and making this an amazing give back in honor of the Hurtado family! We will be hosting a pantry drive to help fill up the pantries at RMDH. At the end of the month Wolfies staff will also be hosting a movie night with fresh baked cookies and popcorn at RMDH!
